Beginning Meditation

Spring is the best season for making positive changes in your life and learning new things.  If you have been curious about meditation, but was unsure of how to get started, this 30-minute class is for you.  We will introduce skills for quieting the mind and becoming more present in the moment.  Scientific research has shown that a regular meditation practice:

·       improves concentration and mental clarity

·       reduces symptoms of stress

·       lowers blood pressure

·       increases physical relaxation

·       increases emotional regulation

·       improves sleep

·       reduces pain
